Hemaraj Seals Second Land Deal with Siam Yamato Steel (SYS) New distribution center to be built on 77-rai plot of land at Hemaraj ESIE 2

Bangkok, 19 September 2017 – Hemaraj Land And Development PLC., a public company under WHA Corporation PCL, and Thailand’s leading developer of Industrial Estates, has announced the signing of a land purchase agreement with Siam Yamato Steel Co., Ltd. (SYS) for a 77-rai plot in Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 2 (Hemaraj ESIE 2), located in Chonburi. Siam Yamato Steel, the manufacturer of hot-rolled structural steel and sheet-pile for the construction industry.

This new land acquisition at Hemaraj ESIE 2 will enable SYS to establish a new distribution center for its domestic and export markets. It will be the company’s 2nd facility within a Hemaraj industrial estate, in addition to its plant opened in 2010 at Hemaraj Eastern Industrial Estate (HEIE) in Map Ta Phut. Thanks to Hemaraj ESIE 2’s strategic location, the future distribution center will enhance SYS’s capacity to better answer the changing requirements of its customers.
