WHA Group Sponsors "CU-RoboCovid" to Help Doctors and Nurses Treat Patients with COVID-19

WHA Group recently sponsored two “CU-RoboCovid”, created by the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University. The “Pinto” robots, to be used at hospitals nationwide, will assist doctors and nurses in their task to detect and treat COVID-19 cases, while reducing the risk of infection.

Equipped with a tele-presence system, Pinto communicates remotely, minimizing interaction between medical personnel and patients. This initiative highlights WHA Group’s desire to extend its full support to medical frontliners who risk their lives in order to save others during this crisis.
