Foundation Stone Laying of JFE Steel Galvanizing (Thailand) at Hemaraj-ESIE

Mr. David Nardone (right), President & CEO of Hemaraj Land And Development Plc., congratulates Mr. Kazuo Asai, Managing Director of JFE Steel Galvanizing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. at the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of JFE Steel’s new plant located on 108 rai land in Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate, Rayong Province. The new plant is Thailand’s first continuous galvanizing line for automobiles of JFE Steel to serve increasingly sophisticated demands from automakers in Thailand for high-end automotive steel sheet. With an investment of US$ 300 million, the plant is expected to start operating in April 2013 to produce Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet at the size of 0.4 mm – 2.3mm in thickness and 800mm – 1,880mm in width with a capacity of 400,000 tons per year.
