Continental Tyres (Thailand) Inaugurates its Greenfield Plant in Thailand at WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 4

Continental Tyres (Thailand) Co., Ltd, recently held the grand opening ceremony for its first Greenfield Tyre Plant in Rayong province, the company’s most environmentally-friendly facility worldwide. Located at WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 4 (WHA ESIE 4), the new plant, worth a total investment of EUR 250 million (THB 9 billion), is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to produce 4 million passenger and light truck premium tyres annually. Creating around 900 new jobs by 2022, the facility will enable the company to better serve its customers in Thailand and the APAC region.
