Metafilm Makes Strategic Move into Thai Market with a Groundbreaking Ceremony at WHA Industrial Estate Rayong

WHA Industrial Development Public Company Limited (WHAID), recently joined in celebrating the groundbreaking ceremony for the new manufacturing facility of Metafilm Electronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd., located in WHA Industrial Estate Rayong (WHA IER). This marks the company’s first plant in Thailand and will serve film capacitors, and electronics materials. The facility will feature advanced automation, sustainable design, and the capacity to produce Metafilm’s signature high-performance components at scale. Once operational, it is expected to create over a hundred jobs in Rayong, bolstering the local economy and reinforcing Metafilm’s role as a driver of technological progress. The new facility is expected to commence operations in the second quarter of 2025.
