Hemaraj started 2012 with impressive Land Sales of 928 rai, an increase of 197% from prior year.

Bangkok, 9 April 2012 – Hemaraj Land And Development Public Company Limited announced the Industrial Estate Sales of Q1’2012 being 928 rai (371 acres or 148 hectares), an increase of 197% from the prior year, with 39 contracts, 32 new customers and 7 project expansions from existing customers of which more than 60% are Japanese and more than 33% are Automotive. In Q1’2012, Ready Built Factories for Rent grew by 13,694 square meters or a 9% increase from the Year 2011 cumulative balance. There are also another 14,000 square meters of pre-leased and pre-sold. Industrial Estate Utilities Demand increased by 7% from Quarter 4’ 2011.

Early of 2012, Industrial land sales were budgeted at 1,500 rai (600 acres or 240 hectares) and recently were revised up to 1,700 rai (680 acres or 272 hectares). The land transfer backlog to be carried forward to 2012 was more than 900 rai (360 acres or 144 hectares). The industrial estate utility demand is expected to grow by 20% in 2012. The first phase of Hemaraj Logistics Park 1 (HLP1) will be completed by Q2’2012 and, therefore, the budget of the Ready Built Factory and Logistics Parks rental will increase by 60% from the cumulative balance in 2012.
