WHA Bags Six Eco Industrial Town Awards at “ECO Innovation Forum 2022”

WHA Industrial Development PLC recently grabbed 6 ECO Industrial Town awards at the “ECO Innovation Forum 2022”, held under the concept of "Eco Journey to Carbon Neutrality” by the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), in cooperation with the Water and Environment Institute for Sustainability (WEIS) under the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI).

During the event, the forum handed “Eco Industrial Town” awards to industrial estates that support the concept and operation of eco-industrial estates, following the BCG model that focuses on resource efficiency, pollution reduction and alleviation of industrial operation impact on the environment and community to achieve carbon neutrality. The six WHA industrial estates awarded “Eco Industrial Town” include:

• WHA Eastern Industrial Estate (Map Ta Phut): Eco Excellence Award
• WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 1 (WHA ESIE 1): Eco Champion Award
• WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 2 (WHA ESIE 2): Eco Champion Award
• WHA Chonburi Industrial Estate 1 (WHA CIE 1): Eco Champion Award
• WHA Chonburi Industrial Estate 2 (WHA CIE 2): Eco Champion Award
• Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (Rayong): Eco Champion Award
