Hemaraj and Vocational Education Commission to organize Hemaraj Job Fair in Rayong

Bangkok, January 2007 – Hemaraj Land And Development Plc, Thailand’s leading developer of industrial estates cooperating with Vocational Education Commission (VEC) to organize Hemaraj Job Fair on January 27, 2007 at Rayong Technical College. More than 3,000 positions will be offered to job seekers from Mattayom 3 to Bachelor’s Degree. The aim of this fair is to supply human resources to Hemaraj’s customers in 6 industrial estates in Rayong, Chonburi and Saraburi.
As Thailand’s leading developer of 6 industrial estates with customer investment estimated at U.S.$ 11 billions, Hemaraj Land And Development foresees an importance of coordination with the public sector on human resources. As the result, Hemaraj Job Fair will be organized, offering more than 3,000 positions in various levels and fields.

Senior Advisor for Policy and Planning, Vocational Education Commission Mr. Mangkorn Harirak said, “Information exchanges with Hemaraj Land And Development and its customers help public sector understand industrial needs. Vocational Education Commission will then be in a better position to develop curriculum and our students accordingly, especially in favor of a greater task to fulfill Thailand’s direction as automotive and electronic hubs.
About Vocational Education Commission
Vocational Education Commission (VEC) is one of the five main sections in Ministry of Education. Its role is to provide graduates of excellent vocational skills for industries. At present, there are approximately 1,000,000 students under direct operations of VEC: 600,000 students in Por Vor Chor and Por Vor Sor certificate curriculums and 300,000 from short vocational courses for general public. Currently, there are 404 nationwide vocational colleges under VEC’s direct supervision, 20 of which located in Eastern Seaboard.
