Chonburi Clean Energy (CCE) is an industrial waste-to-energy project using direct incineration technology located at WHA Chonburi Industrial Estate 1 (WHA CIE 1), in Chonburi province, Thailand. A joint venture established by WHAUP, Glow Energy Plc, and SUEZ, construction on this project began in late 2017 and is scheduled for commercial operation in December 2019.CCE signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) for the 8.63 MW industrial-waste-to-energy power plant. The total investment on the project is approximately 1.8 billion baht ($US 57 million).
