WHA Vietnam Strengthens Ties with Japanese Companies at Business Matching Event

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – August 8, 2024 – WHA Vietnam is pleased to announce its active participation in the VietinBank - MUFG Business Matching Fair 2024, an event that brought together a vast network of businesses and industry leaders. Co-organized by VietinBank and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG – Japan), this premier event provided an ideal platform for fostering new collaborations and strengthening ties across key markets, including Vietnam, Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia.

Since its launch in December 2012, the VietinBank - MUFG Business Matching Fair has been recognized for its professional organization and the value it brings to participating companies. This year’s event, featuring 200 companies, highlighted the growing interest and collaboration between Vietnamese and Japanese businesses.

WHA Vietnam took full advantage of this opportunity, engaging in both business matching sessions and the reception party. During the business matching sessions, WHA held fruitful discussions with three prominent Japanese companies: Prostock Vietnam Corporation, Fiber Gate Inc., and Toho-Leo Corporation. These companies are currently exploring opportunities to expand their operations in Vietnam, These companies are exploring expansion in Vietnam, and WHA discussed potential collaborations and introduced its Industrial Park projects.

The reception party further facilitated WHA’s efforts to strengthen relationships, offering a platform for meaningful connections with key stakeholders. WHA representatives had the honor of greeting MUFG representatives and Mr. Do Nhat Hoang, Director of the Foreign Investment Department. These interactions were essential in building valuable relationships and discussing potential future collaboration. WHA also highlighted its projects in Nghe An and Thanh Hoa, reaffirming its commitment to supporting foreign investments in Vietnam.
