WHA Celebrates JETRO's 70th Anniversary

September 24, 2024, Ms. Jareeporn Jarukornsakul, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Group Chief Executive Officer of WHA Corporation Public Company Limited (WHA Group), along with WHA Group executives, joined Mr. Ishiguro Norihiko, Chief Executive Officer of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), to commemorate the 70th anniversary of JETRO Bangkok at the Park Hyatt Hotel.

The event featured a briefing on JETRO Bangkok's role in promoting Japanese businesses and investments, as well as the contributions of Japanese companies to Thailand's economic development. The presentation, titled "JETRO Bangkok's Past 70 Years and Current Activities as well as Contribution to Thailand," was followed by a panel discussion among Thai and Japanese business leaders on the topic "Future Direction of Japan-Thailand Cooperation and Expectations for JETRO." Additionally, a "Startup-Show Case" highlighted innovative Japanese businesses. Key discussion points included "innovation" and "carbon reduction and sustainable business," reflecting the growing interest in these areas within the business landscape.
