The inauguration of the Workers' Month took place at WHA Industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An

On May 6, the Council of Labor Safety and Health of Nghe An province, along with the Provincial Labor Confederation, organized the launch event to kickstart the implementation of the Action Month for Labor Safety and Health in 2024 within the Dong Nam Economic Zone of Nghe An province.

Mr. Bui Dinh Long, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, was present at the ceremony, accompanied by leaders from various departments, branches, businesses, and a significant turnout of workers from companies and factories within the Dong Nam Economic Zone of Nghe An province.

The 2024 Launching Ceremony, themed "Strengthening Safety and Occupational Health in the Workplace and Supply Chain" and "Solidarity of Workers - Implementing the Resolution" to ensure safety, health, and rightful benefits for workers, aims to elevate awareness and responsibility in labor safety and hygiene practices and policies. This nationwide event, held annually in May, serves as a pivotal moment for organizations and individuals to enhance their commitment towards these crucial aspects of worker well-being.

Mr. Bui Dinh Long presented Certificates of Merit from the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee to four enterprises and WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An JSC, represented by Mr. Kampol Noramat, Assistant Director, received the award for their exceptional accomplishments in ensuring labor safety and health throughout 2023.
