Hemaraj Congratulates GNLL as Nong La Lok Power Plant Begins Commercial Operations

Gulf JP NLL (GNLL), a joint venture established by Gulf JP and Hemaraj Energy, recently celebrated the commencement of commercial operations at Nong La Lok Power Plant. Situated in Hemaraj Rayong Industrial Land, this THB 5.5 billion cogeneration plant produces 126 megawatts of electricity as well as 3,200 tons of chilled water and 8 tons/hour of steam for cooling and heating purposes respectively.

Hemaraj Energy, a subsidiary of Hemaraj Land And Development Plc., holds a 25.01% stake in GNLL, which struck a deal with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) in 2009 over the sale of 90 megawatts of power.
