Futuris Automotive Ground Breaking Ceremony in Hemaraj’s Industrial Estate

Futuris Automotive (Thailand) Co., Ltd. recently held the Ground Breaking Ceremony of its 2nd factory in Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate. Covering an area of 8,234 sqm., the new factory will produce automotive seating and interior products for Thailand market and for export. Construction of the 2nd plant is expected to be completed and ready to start production by February 2013.

Futuris is a global leader in automotive seating and interior design owned by Australia’s Elders Limited, with manufacturing facilities in Australia, China, Thailand, North America and South Africa. At present, Futuris globally supplies automotive interior solutions to many of the world’s top carmakers including General Motors, Ford, Toyota, Chery, JAC and Tesla.
