PTT Asahi Chemical Grand Openingat Hemaraj Eastern Industrial Estate (Map Ta Phut)

PTT Asahi Chemical Co., Ltd. (PTTAC), a joint venture between PTT Public Company Limited and 2 leading Japan-based chemical companies, Asahi Kasei Chemical Corporation (AKCC) and Marubeni Corporation (Marubeni), recently organized the Grand Opening of the company and its AN/MMA Project whose plant will be located in Hemaraj Eastern Industrial Estate (Map Ta Phut).

The PTTAC plant will produce 200,000 ton/year of AN and 70,000 ton/year of MMA used for coating of TV monitors and mobile phone screens. The commercial production is scheduled to commence in 2010.
