Hemaraj selected for Ford Motor Company new plant in Thailand

In relation to the Ford Motor Company Thailand announcement of June 24, 2010 on a new automotive plant expansion in Thailand, Hemaraj Land And Development Public Company Limited confirms that it sold to Ford Motor Company Thailand 468 rai or 187 acres (748,800 sq meters, 74.8 hectares) at Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate in the first half of 2010. Revenue will be recognized primarily in 2010 and 2011 based on the percent completion of development.

David Nardone, President & CEO of Hemaraj had the following brief comment.

"Naturally we are thrilled to continue our automotive cluster industrial development with Ford Motor Company Thailand for their new plant in Thailand. Our Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estates now of some 6,713 acres in fact started with Ford in 1995 through Auto Alliance (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Today with over 140 auto companies comprising over 220 auto factories, the Detroit of the East continues. We congratulate Ford on this new manufacturing plant and their expansion in Thailand."
