Thai Dongbu Steel Signs Land Purchase Contract with Hemaraj

Thai Dongbu Steel Co., Ltd. – a subsidiary of South Korea’s Dongbu Steel Co., Ltd. – recently signed a contract with Hemaraj Land And Development Plc., to buy 40 rai of land for its new plant at Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (Rayong). A leading manufacturer of steel products, Thai Dongbu Steel will produce various steel products and PCM line for supplying to world’s leading home appliances manufacturer such as LG. The new plant is expected to start a full operation in December 2012 with a capacity of 80,000 metric tons per year
